They are among the greatest dynasties in hockey history. Between 1980 and 1983, the New York Islanders won four consecutive championships, a feat that has not been repeated since.  With a history reaching back only 35 years, the Islanders have built a rich tradition of winning that few franchises in any sport have enjoyed. 

During this time, the Islanders set hockey records that may never be broken, established the strongest of bonds with the local fan base and played in some of the most memorable games of all time.
